Don’t forget to change your batteries

I know that I am super excited that the days are getting longer with this weekend’s time change. We can finally see a hint of grass in the yard and the snow is slowly melting away. I have no doubt that by the time we can see the whole yard, my lily’s will be popping out of the ground and that puts a BIG smile on my face!

Many people are starting to get spring fever and some are in full spring cleaning mode. While you are zipping around the house from room to room don’t forget that it is a great idea to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and CO detectors. Giving them a quick cleaning with a rag and the vacuum and testing the system is not a bad idea either to make sure that everything is working property, because, after all, a safe house is the best house.

As we get closer to spring check back for lots of great home maintainance ideas to keep your home in tip top shape!
